Description : The Opel Lotus Omega. I incorperated as much
info as I could find into this car. The top
speed is between the estimates of 283-
			  301 kph (176-187mph).

Differences from the
Opel Omega Sport	: New loading screen
			  Showcase
			  Spoiler
			  New rims
			  New front grille
			  New lights
			  Lowered body
			  Hood vents
			  New performance
			  New transmission (6-speed)
New logo (behind car select screen)
			  Lotus logo on car
			  Different fog lights

Installation : Unzip the file, then create a folder named
			  LOnmg in your gamedata\carmodel directory.
Then copy car.viv to the LOmg folder. Then
copy the 46_00.qfs to the fedata\art\slides
directory (you will only have one if max
installation). Then copy SHLOMG.QFS to the
			  \fedata\art\showcase directory.

Installation Notes:	: If you don't install the slide screen of the
car (47_00.QFS), the slide screen of the
track you've selected will instead appear
			  while loading.
: If there's already a slide screen image
called 47_00.QFS then probably also a car
with the serial number 47 exists. In this
case, please look at the "IF THERE'S ALREADY
A CAR WITH THE SERIAL NUMBER 47..." part of
			  this file (see below).
: I added FEDATAs English and British to the
VIV file, so the car will probably work in
			  these versions of NFS3.

YOU CAN'T FIND YOUR GAMEDATA\CARMODEL DIRECTORY?
************************************************

If you can't find the GAMEDATA\CARMODEL directory in your NFS3
directory, you might have chosen the minimum installation of NFS3
which means that the car files were probably not copied to your
hard drive. But you can add new cars by copying the GAMEDATA\CARMODEL
directory from your NFS3 CD-ROM to the NFS3 directory on your
hard drive and by then editing the INSTALL.WIN file (which can also be
found in the NFS3 directory) like that:

- Open the file INSTALL.WIN into an editor (e. g. NOTEPAD.EXE)
- Search for this line: [CD-ROM drive letter]:GAMEDATA\CARMODEL
- Edit this line to: .\GAMEDATA\CARMODEL\
- Save the file.

The dot before "\GAMEDATA\CARMODEL" is like a variable which makes NFS3
search for the GAMEDATA\CARMODEL directory in the NFS3 directory on
your hard drive.

Now you can add new cars to NFS3.

IF THERE'S ALREADY A CAR WITH THE SERIAL NUMBER 47, ...
*******************************************************

...then the only way to install the Opel Lotus Omega is to edit the
CAR.VIV file with an VIV editor like the VIV Wizard. You can download
the VIV Wizard from the NFSDesign web site:

http://www.nfscheats.com/design/

To download the VIV Wizard, go to this web site and select the "Utils"
section there.

Open the CAR.VIV file into the VIV Wizard and give the car another
serial number by editing the serial numbers in the CARP.TXT and the
FEDATAs. Please note that you have to rename the slide screen image
file (47_00.QFS), too. If you give the car e. g. the serial number 56,
then you would have to rename the slide screen image file to 56_00.QFS.

Note: - If you want to see the slide screen image, the showcase, and
be able to race against this car without picking it, the serial
number has to be a number between 1 (0?) and 49.
      - If you are not interested in the slide screen (the image
which shows a real photo of the car while loading a race), the
showcase, or racing against this car without picking it to race
against, then you can choose any serial number up to I think
	32767.

If these hints and tips don't solve your installation problem, then
please write an e-mail to me.
